Tydd St. Giles, Cambridgeshire

Tydd Steam Brewery was founded in 2007 and is located in Tydd St. Giles, Cambridgeshire. The name derives from the two farm steam engines that were previously housed inside the building now used for brewing.  The steam engines are now kept at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life in Lincoln.

Tydd Steam Brewery was founded by Will and Anna Neaverson.  Will was previously a farmer and Anna is an accountant. After several years of brewing at home, and taking two brewing courses in York and Sunderland, Will decided to set up his own micro brewery.  The five barrel brewing plant was bought from Oldershaws Brewery in Grantham and brewing began in Summer 2007.
