Upham, Hampshire

Upham Brewery was set up in 2009, in the rolling Hampshire downs, not far from Winchester. Their fine real ales are crafted in the grounds of a picturesque, seventeenth century farmstead by a small and dedicated team.  They brew using traditional methods, which ensure the beer has great character, and use the best natural ingredients they can get hold of, to give our drinkers a proper pint, full of flavour.

See below for the range of regular beers brewed by Upham Brewery, tasting notes and information on each beer:

Punter, 4.0% abv

If you pick a pint of 'Punter', you'll be onto a sure bet.  The Upham Brewery's most popular ale (ABV 4%) 'Punter' has an earthy richness with hints of syrup and toasted grain.  Malty Ale.

Stakes, 4.8% abv

Another favourite Upham Ale is 'Stakes', our premium beer with a kick at 4.8%.  Named after the farm where our brewery is based, its robust bitterness has hints of grapefruit and toffee.

Tipster, 3.6% abv

The excellent ‘Tipster’ is golden and light (ABV 3.6%) with refreshing citrus notes that complement the smooth bitterness.
