The Kings Head Brewing Co brew their own real ales on-site in the old cart lodge located behind the pub.  The brewery has a two and half barrel capacity producing approx 86 gallons of beer per brew.

Bildeston Best, 3.6% abv

A traditional best bitter, balanced malt and hops give a rich and fruity taste for a beer of this strength. 

Brettvale Gold, 3.6% abv

A golden session ale, hoppy but not too bitter.  Dry finish.

Landlady, 4.0% abv

A pale golden ale with a sweet but citrus hoppy finish from an English hedgerow hop called "Susan".

Blondie, 4.0% abv

A pale coloured "cask lager" brewed as a real ale but using a lager malt and continental hop.

Brettvale Ale, 4.4% abv

A golden ale with balanced malt and hops giving a biscuity refreshing flavour.

Hop Baby, 4.4% abv

Golden ale brewed using the wild hops growing in the beer garden giving a refreshing but subtle citrus lemon fravour and aroma.

Brettside, 4.5% abv

A premium amber ale, based on the Bildeston Best but stronger ABV and finished with Fuggles hops.

Bildeston Porter, 4.8% abv

A porter with a rich complex maltiness and smooth finish.

Crowdie, 5.0% abv

An oatmeal stout brewed to an old English recipe.  Dark and smooth with balanced hops so not too sweet.  Crowdie is the old English/Scottish name for oatmeal.
