GODDARDS BREWERY


Isle or Wight, Hampshire

 

The Goddards Brewery is located at Barnsley Farm, near Ryde on the Isle of Wight, and dates dates back to the 18th Century.  The Goddards Brewery is a revival of the tradition of farmhouse brewing.

Using traditional hops - Fuggles and Goldings and quality malts.  Technology is employed to ensure the consistency and unvarying excellence of the beers produced.

Ale of Wight, 3.7% abv

An exceptionally aromatic pale beer, originally brewed with long summer evenings in mind, but now available as a year-round session beer.  Also available as a cold-sterile filtered (not pasteurised) bottled beer at 4.0% abv.


Scrumdiggity, 4.0% abv

Refreshingly clean, easy-drinking bitter, with a wonderful aroma of freshl y-rubbed hops that carries through to a satisfying aftertaste (CAMRA Good Beer Guide description). Also available as a cold-sterile filtered (not pasteurised) bottled beer.


Fuggle-Dee-Dum, 4.8% abv

Intensely flavoured, malty, hoppy, strong ale that makes your mouth water. Amber/brown in colour and full bodied. (CAMRA Good Beer Guide description). Also available as a cold-sterile filtered (not pasteurised) bottled beer.


Inspiration, 5.0% abv

Pale, refreshing citrus-y ale. Despite its strength, this is amazingly zingy and fresh, packed full of hop smells and flavours.


Duck's Folly, 5.2% abv

Amber coloured, traditionally brewed English ale, hopped with Fuggles and Goldings.  Also available as a cold-sterile filtered (not pasteurised) bottled beer.


Winter Warmer, 5.2% abv

A really full flavoured ruby-black beer with dried fruit and bitter chocolate malt notes, leading to a rich, sweetish, fruity finish.


Hoppyness, 4.5% abv

A light amber coloured beer with a subtle malt flavour. Medium-bodied palate, complimented by the aromatic bitterness of the hops followed by a terrific zesty, spicy, citrus aroma and after-taste from the 4 separate hop additions that give the beer its name.


Pie Eyed, 4.5% abv

Brewed especially for the Festive season this beer captures the flavours of the special treats we all enjoy.   A deep reddish-amber with Cinnamon and Festive aromas.  Flavours are a medley of malty chocolate sweetness immediately complimented by orange and mixed fruits.
