Carterton, Oxfordshire

The Compass Brewery is based in Oxfordshire and produce high-quality beers, mostly in bottles, to be enjoyed on their own and paired with food.

 

They believe that beer needs to reclaim its rightful position on the dinner table as a complement to any food.  They have launched a range of bottled beers, all brewed for flavour, and enjoy working with a growing number of local food producers, retailers, restaurants and pubs.  You can also find us in cask in selected pubs throughout Oxfordshire.

Isis Pale, 4.9% abv Bottle/ 4.1% abv Cask

Malty aromas on a backdrop of distinct Cascade hops.  Sweet malt with some fruity esters and a gentle bitterness that lingers.


The King's Shipment, 6.0% abv

The King’s Shipment is a bittersweet strong pale beer inspired by ales on long voyages, dry-hopped in oak casks.  The beer is matured on hops and toasted oak chips.


Baltic Night, 4.8% abv

Baltic Night is an intensely black beer.  As Compass Brewery’s first beer, it is packed with flavour from the start.


Torp, 7.0% abv

This beer is copper coloured with four malts, balanced with French and Polish hops, Belgian yeast.  (Cask Only)


Pilot 29, 4.5% abv

This single hopped beer is crisp, clean malt base contrasted with a sweet beech wood smoke. (Cask Only)
