The Briarbank Brewing Company offer a variety of ales, mild, stout and a continental style lager.  Produced in firkins for the on-trade, they also offer bottled beers & flagons for off sales. Briarbank like to keep things fresh with seasonal beers, variations on old favourites and more. There's always something brewing to keep the drinkers happy!

Briar Bitter, 3.7% abv

A traditional English Bitter.  Light copper in colour, and brewed with a blend of Worcestershire hops.

S.P.A, 3.6% abv

A hoppy chestnut ale with a lovely citrus aroma from the choicest cascade & WGV hops.

Spice the Main Brace, 4.1% abv

A light golden ale, with a twist.  Brewed with a selection of spices to accompany the hops and malt.

Cardinale Wolsey, 4.0% abv

An easy drinking pale ale with a hint of honey.

Insanity Clause, 6.0% abv

A powerful brew.  Full bodied with a well-rounded finish.

Dark Knight, 3.8% abv

A smooth session mild, easy to drink with a deep ruby colour.

Port Porter, 5.5% abv

Dark amber in colour.  Big malt flavours overlaid with tangy fruit bitterness.

Briar Lager, 4.0% abv

A crisp refreshing continental style lager.  Brewed with quality German malt and traditional Hallertau hops.

Suffolk Pride, 4.8% abv

A wonderful malty beer with a great copper colour and slight toasty flavour from the speciality malt.

Old Spiteful, 4.8% abv

The finish on this hoppy bitter is dominated by pronounced ginger.

Perpendicular, 4.4% abv

A golden yellow ale, with great floral flavour given by a healthy helping of Cascade hops.

Autumnal, 4.3% abv

This seasonal beer is brewed with the finest East Anglian Hops, to give a lovely fresh fruitiness.

Black Horse Stout, 4.3% abv

An Irish style stout, with it’s dark body, creamy head, and roasted flavour.  Brewed with the finest East Anglian Malt and English hops.

Tipple Tattle, 5.0% abv

A rich golden ale, brewed with Tipple malt and American hops, to make an assertive beer with hints of orange.

Hawksmoor, 4.3% abv

Brewed using traditional German Stein Bier methods. Hot granite is used to assist the boil.  This adds a smokey, caramel flavour to this complex and fruity ale.

Devil Dodger, 4.4% abv

A well-balanced beer.  Hoppy aroma with citrus notes.
