Award-winning Abbey Ales opened in 1997 and is located in the historic City of Bath, South West England.   Abbey Ales produces the award-winning Bellringer, continuously produced at the Abbey Brewery, a golden best bitter.

Bellringer, 4.2% abv

The award-winning amber-gold coloured bellringer is a hoppy ale, with a light to medium body, clean-tasting with a balancing sweetness.  Citrus, pale malt aroma and dry, bitter finish.


Somerset Ale, 3.8% abv

Abbey Ales Somerset Ales is Amber in colour, and is a classic full bodied malty ale with hints of caramel balanced with a hoppy and floral finish.


Maximus, 5.0% abv

Abbey Ales Maximus is a strong copper coloured hoppy best bitter.


Bellringer Mild, 4.0% abv

Abbey Ales Bellringer Mild is a 4.0% abv dark mild beer.


Chorister, 4.5% abv

Abbey Ales Chorister is a well balanced brown malty ale brewed with local Wiltshire Maris Otter malt and finished with Fuggles hops.  


Resurrection, 4.6% abv

Resurrection, brewed by Abbey Ales is an amber/golden coloured Ale with a fruity aroma and taste.


Black Friar, 5.3% abv

Abbey Ales Black Friar is a very dark beer and is brewed from the finest English malt, plus a mixture of roasted Chocolate malts and finished with Northdown and Bramley Cross hops.


Steeple Jack, 4.7% abv

Abbey Ales Steeple Jack is a dark-amber beer, with a fruity aroma and taste.
