Head Brewer / Production Manager Vacancy

Job Title – Head Brewer

Brewer Salary – Competitive depending on experience

Reports To – Managing Director

This is a full time position based on a 40hr work week (including paid breaks).

Main Duties -

Brewing - 5 years minimum previous brewing experience essential, full training will be given on our systems and equipment. Performing CIP cleaning of plant, equipment and vessels after use. Including the handling of chemicals used in these tasks, and recording evidence in our brewery software. Developing new brands throughout the year. Knowledge of small-pack beer production and counter-pressure filling systems essential.

Management – Timetable staff to meet production demands. Maintain all records for brewing, stock volumes and packaging. Develop staff skills through mentorship and guided study. Complete monthly KRA meetings with staff to maintain a strong team. Attend weekly Management Meetings, and present current production volumes and proposed purchases.

Desirable attitude -

An ability to multitask is essential.

Good organisation skills and an ability to forward plan is essential.

Successful candidates must be able to troubleshoot and react quickly to changes.

Due to our location on an island, an interest in rural living and an appreciation of nature would be beneficial.
